Gino has spent the majority of his music career playing in bands, before embarking on a solo career in 2021. In the beginning, it started being born into a musical family. Gino's father played in The Jokers, a New Orleans based R&B band whose accomplishments include: There's Got to Be a Girl reaching #13 on Billboards Top 200. Gene Joubert was a saxophone player for The Jokers, and was also inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame. Gino was self-taught playing the piano and played in and around Atlanta, for a majority of his musical career. Being a keyboardist and singer for The Sassafras Drifters, he helped create and add expression to a southern rock style band which had success with songs like: Love Triangle, Sonic Picture, and New Foundation. Moving forward, Gino aspires to provide quality heart-felt songs with a synch licensing deal. The Tv., and Film Industry has a huge need with the explosion of so many channels available in the current market. Music is the universal language which allows expressions from the soul, just like using different colors from the box of crayons to add more color to a portrait. The mission moving forward is to help bring about real change through awareness and music from the heart.
