Teyah fell in love with music at a young age through musical theatre camps and live music when growing up in Vancouver and Coquitlam. There she was inspired to perform and pursue music professionally. She started writing lyrics and music in high school to express her deepest feelings as a means of healing her mental health and out of pure love for music. Teyah started performing with bands and recording when she joined the Rock school and Recording Arts programs at Terry Fox Secondary. There she decided to pursue music as both an artist and producer/engineer. In the summer of 2022, Teyah started the next step of her journey at Nimbus School of Recording arts and media where she florished until they closed down in late May of 2023. Since then, she has been studying at Lasalle College where she continues her journey.
