Ash Fault Jungle has been coined as the New Wave of American Hair Metal. Heavy influences include Saigon Kick, Brother Cane, the Goo Goo Dolls, Iron Maiden, Fuel, Skid Row, Motley Crue, Shotgun Messiah & the Beatles. C. Stevans's main influences on guitar are Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden), Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B King, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Billy Duffy (the Cult), Tracii Guns (L.A Guns) & Steve Vai. C. Stevans has been playing guitar since the age of 10 (1980). His biggest influence that got him started down the path of musicianship was his father. His mother is his biggest fan. C. Stevans has had some great success over the years in many of his bands opening for the likes of Eddie Money, Bad Company, Tesla, Confederate Railroad, Jackyl, Vince Neil & Collective Soul. Ash Fault Jungle records originals & re-makes of some cover tunes. Has many fellow guest musicians as collaborators from time to time. C. Stevans is the primary song writer & producer on all original tracks released by Ash Fault Jungle.
